Yesterday at club I
noticed a third grader who wasn't taking part in her small group. She was
detached, uninterested, and determined to stay that way. Last week I tried to
engage her in conversation, but she refused to answer my questions or make eye
contact. Last night I made the decision to speak to her parents about her
behavior - if she wasn't going to participate, maybe she would rather not be at
club ... and maybe my job would be a bit easier if I didn't have to worry about
the situation.

Flags Flying at International Headquarters
Every week Child Evangelism Fellowship® head quarters staff and volunteers gather in the International Plaza to raise nine flags and then pray for those countries. Eight of the flags are from a country that is in each of the eight regions that CEF® is currently working in and the ninth flag is for a country that has been specifically targeted by the regional directors to get the work going in within the year.
One eight-year-old told his newly widowed mommy "I am not afraid of dying anymore. Know why Mommy? Because after I say hello to Jesus, I will just be with daddy!"
